5 Tips to Fix a Child's Often-Angry Mental State

5 tips to fix a child's often-angry mental state.

A child who is often angry is not only a loss of a smile, but also a gradual loss of one's own. He begins to be afraid to speak, afraid of being wrong, even afraid of being close to his parents.

Even though in his little heart, he just wants to be understood. But the good news is, the child's mental state can still be improved with love, patience, and the presence of parents who want to learn to change.

1. Stop being angry and begin to understand. A child who is angry does not need punishment, he needs understanding. Instead of rejecting with anger, try to calm down and ask gently, Why did you do that earlier, tell your parents, okay? When the child feels heard, the wound in his heart slowly heals.

2. Apologize and hug him.
There is no late word to say, I'm sorry, son. I used to be too angry. A simple sentence, but has great power to improve the child's confidence.
A warm hug can erase many traumas that have never been realized.

3. Validate emotions. Teach your child that anger, sadness, or disappointment is not wrong.
I know it's normal for you to be angry, but let's slowly learn to calm down. By doing so, the child learns to manage his emotions, not to suppress them.

4. Change your attitude.
Be a guide. Rough words can hurt much deeper than it looks. Change, you're so stubborn, become a mother who knows you can do better.
Every gentle word will grow self-esteem and confidence in the child.

5. Give time to love and attention. A child's mental recovery takes time.
But every day you can fix it with a smile, hug, and togetherness. Let the child feel at home, he is always safe and loved for what he is. Because the truth is, the child does not need a perfect parent.

He just needs a parent who wants to learn to change and grow with him.
